      heavy, mixed ground i had 1 which i sold to scotty91 which would pull the plug out but i,ve built a few which did,nt seem as stiff but great rods my friend has a pair 1 of which is 14ft and he swears by them and he has had some lovely fish on them if i,m not mistaken a 12lber down whitburn

              They can still handle a bit rough ground but not super heavy, well mine cant because its a bit soft now with it being well used. I keep mine for the rivers, perfect for the old bugger.
