Should you not have asked for feedback before buying it?

Could be a very very expensive mistake. I've tried one and they are nicely balanced for such a long rod. Its very powerful so takes a good technique to get the best out of it. I thought it reminded me of a cross between an eliminator and a ttr but a lot lighter and not tip heay

Personal choice but I prefer Zziplex txls and txl gts

The eliminators aren't the nicest rods to use, very unwieldy and tip heavy, the HPR will be in another class, much more feel. Only thing i was confused by was the butt diameter. I would have thought that with the new resins they could have kept the thinner butt of the eliminator but just stiffened it up. At least now the tip doesn't overpower the butt.

Nice rod's but with most things new time will tell, i suspect a few will be up for sale near xmas when money is tight and the fishing tails off!
