Does anyone know if the pier is open today im away out just not gonna bother with the pier if it open

I've heard on one of the facebook sites that the pier is open mate.

If i didn't have a house full of kids & grandkids who i have to drop off later i would of joined you

just been told on fishermans locker it was (harra) paul harrison 9lb 2 ounce cod last chuck me marra that saved me from a puddle disaster whilst going to fish a cleadon match last year haha brilliant news i hope

a big snag in front of me lost me 5 fish. did move but no good.

am sure there was good fish being lost, a lad beside me hooked a pig, couldnt lift it. that proved my point. 2nd bay was the place.

seen a few being hoisted up lizards.

Yes it was Paul Harrison that won, Deans that was Harra that dropped that fish in the 2nd bay, he went down for it and i picked him up at the top of the steps and made it to the weigh in with 2 or 3 mins to spare. He got very wet getting it! weight was 8lb 8oz. Oh and guess who his partner was! Cheers mate!

8lb 8oz i believe, he had a coalie to go with it so his bag weight would have been 9lb odd
