  • Whitly Bay Festival result 21/10

Here's the result and a few photos from today's open - fished in glorious sunshine & no wind but flat sea's which had a good bit of colour (locally anyway!) It was hard work at Hartley today. All we managed between two of us was a lobsters claw! Still to catch a fish in an open this season! Well done to all those who managed to get some fish to the weigh in!

Yep, his dad was telling me that as a youngster himself he was always trying to win the Whitley Bay Junior title but could never manage it; young Owen did it at the age of six in his first comp!
