Sad days are back and the cod season has just started.
I know flotation suites are bulky but they could just save your life.
So when your fishing if it looks to dodgie walk away and try some we're else.
      Keep safe.

Just a footnote to Flotation Suits, as far as I am aware (and you can correct me if I am wrong) a flotation suit will not self right you if you are knocked before or once you are in the water, therefore, you could be knocked out and face down. Therefore you float but drown anyway.
You need a PFD, personal flotation device that will self right you and turn you on your back as it inflates therefore maintaining an airway.
"And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"

as stated flotation suits are not much good you need a good quality self inflating life jacket, at least if you get knocked out it will turn you the right way. Many say they are too expensive and bulky, these days they are no more bulky than a strap across your shoulders, and what price do you put on your life.

the color of the suit inflates keepin your head above water if worst comes to worst, saved a lads life last year as he fell through an old wooden pier and knocked himself out,

not all flotation suits have inflatable collars.
