Fished a match at Blyth tonight. Started on the beach at Sluice end and nothing at all on the ebb, baits untouched. Heard a couple of Flounders had came from the pier so went there for the flood and got two Codling 40cm and 38cm just on plain lug. Bites were best on plain worm. Mate lost one 3 - 4lb hung up on the bottom of the pier. Winner from the beach with Codling 49cm and a Whiting. Other catches just odd small fish. Dipped out on both sweeps but got the points for second place I needed.
