    whats the best make of line for fishing mixed and rough ground.will be using pen 525 and 535 reels thank

          Everyone is different with preference but for me diawa sensor 30lb.

            diawa sensor 30lb for me, i have also used the new range of Storm line in 40lb slightly thicker than the sensor its 0.6mm i think but can get it in bright pink so can see it clearly. only a 5a for a spool from ID tackle cracking line for the price.
            Species 2012 - Cod, Flounder, Dab, Plaice, Pollock, Eelpout, Common eel, Granny Fish, Whiting, Coalie, LSD, Rockling, Bass.

              For rough ground rock marks why pay a fortune for line, i fish a lot of rough ground marks and just use 35lb Ultima Seastrike or 35lb Greys Greylon ( £7-50p with P/P for 1000 yds off the Ebay ) straight through and never had any problems with the lines and who cares at those prices if there scuffed just respool.
