    Any luck? Pull of tide been shocking last few trips I had down basin m8 was chucking up some nice whiting 3-4 wk ago had few over 1.5 pound one guy n his wife had 30 more than half keepers aswell saw some cracking salmon leaping n only odd pesky eel been caught good in way but not when saves blank

      i was down st peters talking to this lad who made this post , he had a nice cod about 3lb and a whitey a little bit smaller also loads of flounder, canny lad

        cheers kenny was that you n ya mate i was talking to i was the guy on the bike n trailer codling went 2lb 4oz when a got home managed 7 flounder up to 25cm as well as the whiting which was 32cm

          yeah mate that was me and my uncle and that bike trailer is a belter haha, canny seshion you had there , nice to actualy see some fish being caught instead of false reports, im down tyne on sat night with 2 of my uncles so hope we can do as good as you have tonight well done mate

            Well done m8 not seen r heard of nice cod from basin for ages well done usually just whiting n flounder what was pull of tide like?what part u fish?

              a allways fish the down river end dunno why just allways have, tide was hardly moving all night was holding bottom with 3oz leads no probs if its a small to med tide i like to fish with 1 carp rod to get a bit fun from the smaller stuff n a put a big bait out for the codling
