Newbiggen mid week comp

Me and my mate fished or secret mark up Amble last night fishing the tide down. Started off slow with me only catching two Coalies, but when the tide started to drop and there was only 45mins left of the comp the cod started to bite! Five fish in the space of 7mins!!!! Could not believe it do not have time to bait or next rig up! In the end I had two cod gaz had three.. Good nights fishing I say!
