  • Tides for your smartphone (Google Calender)

I've found a way to incorporate tide tables into Google calenders so you can access them on the move. I know there are apps available, but this gives you instant access to months in advance.

This part is best done on your pc/laptop.

First of all you need to sign into Google Calendar (you need a google account)

Once you've done this, go to this website in a different tab on your browser.

    Zone :Europe/London.

Click on the port you want. When its displayed, there should be a 'Subscribe (ical)' link underneath. Right click this and select 'copy link location'.

Once done, go to your google calender, and on the left hand side click 'other calenders' then 'Add by URL'. In the box that pops up, right click in the box, select paste. Click on 'add calender', and it will load up.

Once done, you can access this anytime from your smartphone by accessing your google calender, just by adding a shortcut to your homescreen.

It might look complicated, but it took me less than 5 minutes to do.
