Seaham doubles

Heard a rumour today that two double figure cod were caught at Seaham last night. Normally a reliable source, anyone heard anything ?
Just thought I would pass on what I heard in case it is of assistance to anyone.

Not heard any more mate, apparently it was reported in a tackle shop in Hartlepool.

Doubles

Not the old Hartlepool tackle shop stories again. Wouldnt be suprised if it was the shop on the headland. Happens every year - either loads of fish caught or a couple of doublers. Bait sales go through the roof. Works every time.

ave hurd of doubles coming from everywere sheilds pier the other night one from the blast one from marsden its the old tales after the first big sea normally set off by tackle shops to get u in buying more bait big bait bigger fish storys
