    Zziplex

    Hi judging by what you say I would think maybe have a look at a zeteque if u want something stiffer than m427 su

      cheers m8. is the standard zeteque stiffer than the 427su or would i have to get the txl or evo version.
      ive had a go of a hst evo and liked that but thought the su would of been stiffer but i think it bends quite a bit when pulling through the kelp

        ive owned a lot of zziplex rods over the years. i own some of the a fore mentioned, including;
        (in avatar) Dymic HST evo,
        M4 Evo and
        Zeteque TXL....

        the TXL as by far the stiffest rod ive ever used

          Zziplex zeteque

          Hi Mate all zeteques are most powerful in zziplex range so it's personal choice of which one, as for m4 evo it is more suited to mixed ground than heavy ground

            cheers for the info m8.
            could be looking for a txl then.
            wat they like for fishing. not bothered about bite detection as never use a rod stand just looking for sumthing to pull through thick kelp

              427su has all the power you need for the kelp and IMO are horrible things. Hst evo's are very nice. My mate fishes with a zeteque txl gt but I use the m4 evo with no drama in some of the heaviest ground in the north east. Suppose its just what you prefer, I don't like mega stiff pokers. For me the m4 evo has all the power you need and still enjoy your fishing.

                txl all the way but if it is a zippy it,s tippy but thiers nowt wrong with that lol becoming an obbsession with all these stiff rods most rods we use today are better than the 1,s we used in the 80,s and 90,s and look at the fish those rods have hauled in over the years lighter stronger better carbon and resins to hold them together with the odd exceptions not mentioning no names other than a hedgehog lol
