Nice to see a decent sea :-) its been a while

          Bring in the cod
          I am a fisherman !
It is not merely something that I do
It is who I am !
Fishing is not simply my escape.
It is where I am supposed to be.
It is not a place that I go
But a lifelong journey that I am taking
It is a passage that was shown to me and that I will continue to show others.
When you understand all of this you will then know me .
          And we will fish together

                          Not venture out !

When I was a lad this was ideal paddling weather for all the kids we would go down in us hand knitted bathing costumes, you know the ones that the crotch trials the ground once they are wet, and build sand castles. Then we would run back up the beach dodging the slates blown from the sea front houses to us mother who had tied herself and me father to the railings to stop being swept away. Then we would have us sandwiches with added grit to keep us teeth clean.

Aye many a memorable day in casualty with hypothermia from us trips to the sand.

Ye na if yur tell kids this now they divnt believe yer.

Youngun's divnt na they're born these days
