  • where to fish?

    Going for it tonight, any sugestions for somewhere with a bit shelter from the wind?
    I was thinking of the prom that leads to St Mary's lighthouse any thoughts on that?

                      depending how big it still is would have tried tynemouth pier on the bottom or somewhere in the tyne is always a shot with the wind on ya back .

                        I was thinking of the pier myself as long as theres no lumps coming over the top. If all else fails the rubber factory....

                          It looks a bit to rough for the beaches to me, the river will be full of run water, first gate might be ok over high

                            When I was at the Haven car park Monday at high water, there were no waves at all coming over Tynemouth pier, as the wind was straight easterly.

                              Just been down for a recky and it looks good for Tynemouth tonight, beaches are unfishable imo, few lumps coming over ssp from half way up to the end....
