      18lb with shockleader

      I love berkley xts
      Others swear by suffix tritanium
Some love sakuma nite crystal and daiwa tournament
      Some even daiwa sensor

Soooo many lines to choose from and everyone prefers different... Best advice i can give is to try as many as possible and decide for yourself

If you dont like using a shock leader go for minimum 30lb straight through

mick a use 30lb daiwa sensor straight through. 9 quid a spool from reelsport. also bought a cheap spool of storm fluro 30lb for the summer for 5 quid. neither have let me down

Try red ice 20lb with red Sakura 50lb shockleader its strong enough for beach and pier and by using 50lb leader it keeps the knot small I've never had any snap or crack off
