2 mates fish with them. One 13ft and other 14ft. Both love them. Probs Anna be my next rod also. I use a Mk2 at the minute and think highly of it.
GET OUT THERE AND STICK A BAIT IN IT !!!

Very nice rods. I had one for a short time. Nice and light and powerful but I had no confidance in it after so many snapping.

          appollo

I thought they had discontinued them ? Been looking at the appollo extreme, designed for rough ground, a bit pricey at the mo but gets a decent write up.

I would defo recommend one Alan, I absolutely love mine, its a top quality piece of kit. I use the 14ft Mk3 version, and its just such a great rod for power, bite detection and casting.

Put it this way Alan, I have never heard of any Mk3's snapping yet (at least I havent anyways), but if you purchase one, you will not be disappointed.

Before you spend your cash look at the Ron Thompson axcellorator, top rough ground rod.

Had mine for a couple of year now first one snapped at the tip. It was replaced and now its my favourite rod.
I have bought other rods since as I wanted something lighter and with a thinner butt including m4 evos and eliminators but I always end up going back to my Apollo mk3. Has good bite detection and to me its just perfect for the NE coast as it can handle any ground.

Not sure how much they sell for now but that sounds like a good price.
