I'm thinking of fishing the balcary area in a couple of weeks to hopefully finally catch a thornie. I'm after so help with marks in the area, i know flat rock but I'm expecting it to be mobbed so going to try somewhere else, any recommendations or pointers are really appreciated. Thanks
last week saw up to eleven rays taken in a day - silloth only reported one! make your own mind up. remember, what you put in is reflected in what you get out. tight lines
Trouble with putting reports on sites about specific small marks is next time you go it will be mobbed off, hence why theres few replies for other marks, to be mobbed too.As a lot of lads will know its a bit of a tw@t when you plan a trip, drive 150 mile to find your mark stowed off
I was there at the weekend mate. Only one small.thornie between 14 rods.Try to the right of the old Lifeboat slipway. Less distance to walk, congers and Thornies there the weekend before.
Thanks for the replies gentlemen, and Bri1960 i know where your coming from with regards the hords following the fish to your mark. I think we're going to auchinlarie caravan instead now.
