Despite a disappointing turn out for last week’s meeting to discuss the loss of and lack of angling marks in the River Wear, progress is being made and angling representatives will be meeting with the City Council in the near future to discuss a way forward. A further meeting will then be held for anglers to discuss the outcome of that meeting – please do get involved.
