would it be worth having a Club catch report as well as a personal catch report,i know Sless (Graham) puts his club reports in quite regular as do one or two others
          Cheers Alan...

            That\'s a flippin\' good idea, Alan.

It\'s easy enough to create a sub forum of Shore Fishing for just that.

Don\'t think there\'ll be a great deal of use for it until the Winter shore season starts again (crikey, we haven\'t had Summer yet and I\'m talking about the Winter shore season....lol)....but I\'ll set it up anyway

Wasn\'t the Catch Reports the domain of AC and, if my memory serves me right, wasn\'t he sending the reports and they weren\'t getting to where they should have, hence the gap. Must admit I used to enjoy reading them.... from afar as it were.

Thats correct Stores, I used to get the informtaion for all over the place for the catch reports and send them in. Unfortunately as you say someone was rather lax in putting them up. There where also those who complained that the reports where late, even when i was on holiday. There is nothing to stop anyone putting up catch reports when they here of fish caught, instaed of leaving it to someone else as usual and moaning when it is not done. No offence meant to anyone.

                    Hmmmm....partly right, David:

The round up of catch reports were Alans\' domain and he was sending them in to be posted.
Just incase anyone is wondering.......the \"catch reports\" section wasn\'t on the Forums bit of the site at the time - they were part of the main site. This means that it wasn\'t possible for Alan to post the reports himself, nor indeed, could I.

have to say it was before the site changed to this format. We will have to see what the future brings.

I nominate craigyboy to start posting the catch and match reports for the site. It is not hard work bit time consuming, you will need a camera to go to the opens to take photographs and get the results. You will need the phone numbers of the lads over the West Caost to supply you with their information (i can supply them) you will need the numbers of the charter and private boat owners to get their catch reports Whitby to Berwick. You will need the tackle shop numbers to get their reports. Then so no one moans about there being no catch reports you will have to sit for a couple of hours on a Friday night (you dont go out do you) and put all the info on the site. You can manage that cant you.
