Well had me trip to cresswell towers the weekend gone , me , me fishing gear , the Russell's and wor lass went on Friday night .
Up early on Saturday and down the beach with the dogs and me gear to try for the bass , gave it a couple of hours behind the ice cream shop and left along the beach casting every 10 yards with plugs , lures and jellys with no joy , the sea was flat as a witches !
That afternoon I went down at bottom water and fished one rod at distance and a method feeder rod 15 yards out . After a 3 hour mini sesh( the bar was beckoning ) I ended up with 4 micro flounders on the method rod and a hand sized google eyed dab at distance.
The Sunday I decided to fish in front of the caravan site on the night from 5.30 till 9ish and only had one micro flounder , but enjoyed the weekend and will fish it again when there's a bit of a sea running.
