awesome rods if it had a different name on would sell for twice the price i got 1 years ago when they 1st came out when i read the right up off barney wright i remember fishing the pier and a few people took the mick out of it saying cheap crap a few weeks later i had a couple of nice fish biggest 8lb at marsden could,nt believe how good they are the lads who took the mick bought the same rod as a backup they take a 28 mm reelseat but it is really tight better than the 1 that you used to get on the 1st rods .i use mine all the time on the rocks and it gets a good thrashing mind not with so many fish these days more like snags lol, they are slightly heavy but this is a small price to pay like phil says they would be even better if they where a bit longer defo not 24mm though not unless they have changed them, also 1st class spigots on them not like some of the other rods out thierRodbuilding & rod repairs
