Been down to Shields and did/nt see any being caught m8 but plenty of whiting and coalies.

i fished roker sunday and got 13 makki,was the odd few after id had mine,there still some there,got a few canny big ones too........excellent scrap on a spinning rod!!!!

bout 5 taken off shields pier the day from 9 till 4.30
got mine on bait bout 10.3am other 4 followed throughout the day
