Buying gear, anyway round it???

Alreet lads,

Was wondering if there is anyway round the 40 post rule for buying from the for sale section? There's something I'm after but ain't got enough posts obviously, and I don't wanna do the usual and write any old stuff in order to get the posts up. Is there any way I could PM the person and ask them if they wanna sell their stuff to me?

Unless I am reading wrong, the 40 post rule applies only to the seller. PM the seller then it is between the two of you as far as I can see.
