Cresswell shore
I am a fisherman !
It is not merely something that I do
It is who I am !
Fishing is not simply my escape.
It is where I am supposed to be.
It is not a place that I go
But a lifelong journey that I am taking
It is a passage that was shown to me and that I will continue to show others.
When you understand all of this you will then know me .
And we will fish togetherTags: None

Don't know about spinning and lures but you can catch loads of flounders, including some big ones on the beach by casting really short into holes. If the sea is running and your luck's in you might get bass. There's also dabs, turbot and, at night, you might catch coalies and codling. Move around if nowts biting. Use worms and fish baits and 2 hook rigs with smallish hooks.
All the bestPBs...Cod 8lb2oz.. Turbot 3lb2oz.. Whiting 1lb8oz.. Coalie 1lb9oz.. Flounder 1lb7oz.. Dab 15oz.. Plaice 13oz.. Bass 1lb 6oz

usually get up that way in the winter and park just pass the ice cream shop in the car park next to the boatyard and walk thru the gap in the dunes, loads of different places to fish all the way up and down the beach, have had a few bass when the conditions have been ok
