Can anybody recommend some decent breathable waders - preferably with metal studs.

    Cheers

Think most people ar goin for the stocking foot 1s mate with the boot a would look at sum snowbee 1s with the rock hopper boot or the Sonik sk4 1s look good but at 200 notes bit steep. I might just get a nother set of snowbee granits

It depends on how much you want to pay mate.
Have a look here, they have a good selection.
I buy a lot of gear from them and they are very reliable.

I’ve used a Simms pair for a few years and have been impressed with them. They’re waterproof and durable and have outlived several pairs of cheaper breathables that friends have tried. Like most breathables, one thing that they are not, though, is warm.

Ive almost given up wearing anything but breathables. They are just so much more comfortable to wear especially April through to Dec before it gets too cold. Then its just a case off extra layers on the legs. You certainly dont get cold feet because of the neoprene stocking feet .

Im wearing some old rapala pro wears and have only had a leak on the foot when i tried pulling them off a breakaway lead on the garage floor. Easily repaired though. I use greys platinum boots and they are great for grip on the rocks, huge long studs that grip like hell, certainly better than oceans etc.

Ive surprised myself how long they have lasted.
