  • Moving bait

What I've found lately while using large crab baits from the rocks. Is that I've missed a few bites sometimes I've wondered how the hell have I missed that only to reel in and find that the crab has moved down the hook and covered the point. So just wondering is there anyway or anything I can put on to stop it moving down
    Cheers.

Bind ya crab on tightly, use bait holder hooks, or even push a piece of elastic band onto ya hook and over the barb, that would stop ya bait slipping and masking the hook point. Hope this helps

That's what I do. Works fine, keeps the point clear.
