Its probably just so it coincides with the Amble Fayre,its more likely bad luck with the tides than badly organised,Tony might know better though

Fair comment,but could it not have been fished over low water on the evening tide?I know it would have meant a late finish for anyone travelling to fish it but im sure alot more people would turn out to fish if they could get onto there mark.
