  • loch Etive ?

    heading up here for 3 nights on the 6th September, never fished it before so dont really know much about the place so am after some info on what rigs, hooks and baits ect.. is best to use ? also is it rough or clean ground ?

    Main rigs I use are pennel pulley rigs in 4/0 hooks as for baits I've had thornbacks and spurs on squid Sandeel mackerel blueys and crab either on it's own or cocktail. Ground wise places can b snaggy at times but also can go a session without losing a rig. Also ragwort will pick up smaller fish like pollock dabs gurnards etc. hope this helps mate

          Have u any marks in mind I don't mind pm u a decent mark that has always done us well for spurs in day light.

            am travelling up with the alberta club mate we have a evening match on the thursday at The school, a night match on the friday at The priory and a day time match at the wind sock on the saturday. but we free to do what ever we want in between them so will deffo be fishing other marks so that would be great if you dont mind mate
