Well I was hoping for a wee change of fishing venue this Saturday with a trip to Tighnabruiach. Fed up with seals and drunks at Blairmore! However Lynn's car needs a wheel bearing which has to wait until pay day on 25th, so she is refusing to drive the 40 odd miles each way, fair enough I suppose. Checked the bus times and unbelievably there is a bus at 710am, then not another one until 240pm What is that about
So Blairmore it must be, unless either of the above are in situ, then it will be Strone.
I will post, if I can think of a new and interesting slant on reporting Mackerel fishing...................so perhaps not then!!
A couple of old photos of Tighnabruaich.
Think I will phone West Coast Buses and give them some grief over timetable.
Can you tell I'm off work and bored today? Raining outside and windy. Happy August ! Still weather forecast is very good for Saturday..........at the moment! Why does the 5 day forecast change daily, surely that defeats the point
I think I will take the 10ft, 20 year old Shakespeare Catcher rod that Lynn bought off Ebay for £3.81 I have no idea what possesed her, apart from the fact that she can't resist a "bargain." Maybe try Mackerel strip and see if there is any fish other than said Mackerel in the Clyde.
I won't hold my breath
