It all depends on how fast you want your reel to mate. The difrent grades of oli sit in the beaeings . So thicker oils will slow your reel and thiner oils will let it runn faster. The red rockt fule is a thicker oil than the yellow and the white thiner agine. My.6500ct rocket runns on the white rocket fule and free spinns for almost 2.5mins . And can get one hell of a cast . Hope this helps mate . Im gessing that your trying to tune your reel

i have always used yellow rocket fuel & they run fast so as has been said start with mags full on & adjust as u go, your reel has a chance 2 come with thick oil in the bearings m8 so 2 use the yellow or red u will have 2 soak the bearings in lighter petrol 4 few hours then let dry on a towel & repeat again, this will clean off all the thick oil.
then as has been said all u need is a drop in each bearing.
happy fishing m8.

was wanting to know whats the best oil to use on it??
have heard that yellow rocket fuel is the best but would like some more
advice please
really chuffed i is never used a mag reel before cant wait any you lads got any tips on the mag elites too??
if you realy want summit lighter just put car engine oil in no need for fancy oils in your fishing reels.
thing with the gearbox oil is i normaly put some of this on a spoon and heat up a little over a gas ring or electric ring to thin it out so as it penetrates into bearing better just one small drop in each bearing is enough.
just what i do anywaydid you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?
