Im looking for a new fixed spool reel budget up to £100 max. I want something robust and reliable that comes with 2 spools. I already have a penn surf blaster 8000 and ideally would like something a little smaller to use on cleaner beaches with a continental rod.
I had looked at these but they seem to be £150 wherever i have looked. Can you show me them at this price?
Found at £100 and ordered, only really costing me 15 quid as the rest is from holiday insurance after my penn 525 was smashed up by a halibut pulling my rod in last week in Norway.

Chief they were defo going for £75-90 a few months ago but again I can only find them around the £100 mark. not sure why there is such a price rise in such a short time.
You would have been better off buying another 525 mate. Bombproof.... Not halibut proof though!

Maybe but I am sort of moving across to fixed spools now, got a sonik gravity surf sitting in the garage that i got for a bargain price brand new and was looking for a new fixed spool to match it to. Most of my fishing is scratching in catch and release comps based on the SAMF chart so starting to move my gear that way

Spinfishers are solid reliable but very heavy in weight .Fine for standard heavy fishing around here down the butt which counter balances it's weight.Read into this your looking for a reel for light match/scratching on a continental rod.Spinfishers not what you want, especially if your fishing the reel in the up butt position.Look at something like the new Shimano xsd 14000.0ver your budget at £125 discounted price or cheaper if you search around online, but much more suitable to your needs on a continental rod.Still suitable for most your other types of fishing too as well with braid or mono, bar obviously into the rock heavy kelp.
You will find most tackle has increased in price in 2017 since the New Year by 10%.Most manufacturer's warned of this a few months ago.
