    Possibly heading over there next weekend and stopping a night or two, 1st time for me

    anyone give me pointers as in what to target, best baits and rigs etc, west coats virgin you see

    Fished the mull a few times over the years. I have found sidewinders fish well also spinners. Good place to float fish use rag for pollock and wrass . If bottom fishing use mackie you will get lots of dog fish and the odd tope.hope this helps.

        shore fishing, Ive never had pollack, wrasse or dogfish. or rays so hope to break me duck

            on the other side of luce bay there are marks were you can catch off the shore tope and smoothounds.
            did you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?

              possibly trying eat / west tarbet, depends on weather

                If you fish east tarbit in the dark with mackie strip you will get dogies every cast. Use a 1/0-2/0 hook as they have quite small mouths. You should get them at all distances. It's a nice sandy beach so just use plain leads.

                        Tip mate if you use crab or mackrel bait take drag off put the ratchet on or you might say goodbye to your rod I've had some big smoothies on crab of the beach and tope close to the cliffs
