  • Sunny in Scotland tomorrow means fishing!

Been raining here all week, but as Lynn and I were into the 2nd of out three Summer Schools, we were not too bothered. Then we noticed that Suturday would be lovely............Arrrg.

However the luck which has deserted us all Summer, briefly returned, when one of our students told us she couldn't do the end of week show on Saturday, as she was going on holiday. It meant that the young people would have to work harder and bring the show forward to today, but they all agreed that this was the right thing to do. So we have just finished a day early, well half a day, and we are now free to do some fishing at our favourite spot on Loch Long.

    Hurrah...................

But do we open the wine that after a week of working flat out with teenagers, we really need to do , or desist and be bright eyed and bushy tailed for the morning boat across the Clyde at 1000am

Well working with teenagers must be exhausting and stressful at times so a well worth break, considering your bad luck with the weather after travelling to the NE for the boat trips. it sounds like your in for a nice relaxing day.
so for what its worth, crack the red or buckfast, put some crispy bacon crisps in a bowl, get the telly on and feet up.

Get sat in a position to keep an eye on the dutchess just to make sure those rigs are gettin tied properly, just check the knots now and again when she goes for another bottle, so as not to knock her confidence like....smart move that one...........when she's done about twenty and your on your second bottle of red or buckfast whatever, tell her to have a glass and a break after the sarnies are made and before she starts on the sinkers...........

Now Mark, i know i am sounding soft with the glass of red and a break BUT she's had it just as hard as you and fair is fair..........

    best of luck........thats 3 i'll need to do !!

Chris, if we kept the vino for a rainy day, we would be raging alcoholics

Doing good thanks. Out tomorrow for the first time in 2 weeks.

Mackerel only I suspect though, just wish the upper Clyde had a bit more to offer, but that's a debate for another day!

          You been out much?
