  • Greys platinum gsi views?

My favourite all-rounder. There are better dedicated heavy ground or clean beach rods but I've used mine all over the coast, given it a right hammering and it hasn't let me down - I've had it since they were first launched. I use it for most club matches as it gives me the option to fish everything from beaches to the rocks. A tip-actioned rod capable of big distances - if you prefer a more through-actioned rod look at the XS model.

Great allround rods I use mine for rough and clean ground . They are a tippy rod as said already and if you miss cast you'll pay for it with a nest. Over all a great rod very light.

Really nice rods... dead light but buckets of power... one of the best rods ive used in terms of casting... will outcast a lot of zippys and centurys if you get it right.... nice length at 14ft... i found the bite detection to be a little lacking for me tho

              still regret selling it

The GSI's are great rods. I have abused mine and as stated earlier it can be used for everything. I picked another up cheap when they were selling them off as I love my original that much so I have a brand new one spare.

I think the gsi is a better rod than the sk3... Thats nothing against the sk3 tho... They are great rods know a few people who fish with them with no complaints! Dont listen to the snapping storys about them too much... Early batch problems was sorted straight away
