had all my big pollock on frozen sandeel spinning,float with rag,spin with lures,freeline with rag,piers,eyemouth,dunstanborogh,st abbs,beadnell,for plenty of pollock. davyPB

Personally I would spin for them rather than float, get yourself down to a good deep mark, like the ones already mentioned and fish along the edge of the rocks, I found alot of my Pollock were coming in the last 10 ft of water and massively. Increased my catch rate by casting along the rock edge. If you can't get past the mackerel id switch to jellys. If you do want to float id use rag worm fished between 9 and 13 ft deep.Happy to help, Keen to learn!
