  • The best 15lb line?

Just out of interest what 15lb line do you rate tops for clean ground?

Mine has to be Daiwa Tournement - casts great, resists nesting, tough and pretty thin diameter. I also like the fact that it\'s yellow (stops people walking into it!).

Apart from one fortnight I have to say me Red Ice Mike. Don\'t think that was the lines fault though lol just bad day at black rock. Probably three of the best nests ever.

    Jim.
Remember, some people are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.

Same as you Mike, used Daiwa tournament for years in different breaking strains and can\'t fault it.

ghost line for that breaking strain for me,its abrasive resistent sits really well on the reel and is a dull olive/grey colour(dont like bright coloured lines)specially in the summer.

Like Rod, Trilene big game. Not the thinnest but does it matter unless you are tournament casting and diameter is critical. Very good abrasion resistance.

Go on holiday to Florida and stock up and save a fortune.

its also worth checking Ebay listing in the States, even with the postage it still works out cheaper, make sure they ship outside the U.S before you bid and ask how much the postage is to the UK.
                      Cheers Alan...
