  • Bamburgh places??

Evening all. Possibly heading up to bamburgh on Sunday. Wondering what the best areas to fish up there are, what to use etc.

    Any help is appreciated

Don't know if this helps Marty, but we were on a training exercise up that way on Monday night with Seahouses CRT....We were North of the castle at Ross Links.
1st time I've ever been there.
It's a canny shank to the beach (must be about a mile) so if you are going there I would travel as light as poss.
The beach is a huge expanse, kind of reminded me of the Skeleton Coast in Namibia. I would assume you will probably only be looking at flatties, but would think that it might be a pretty virgin beach due to the shank, so you might get some nice flounder and possibly turbot. Maybe even bass.

    Good luck
"And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"
