na, doubt it m8, we use a ball about the size of a 10p piece, there only 50 or 60p to buy, with a hole all the way through........

Alright Steve mate? Feathers and daylights are basically lures which need to b worked in some way to catch fish whereas a float is more or less static apart from drifting in tide, hope this helps u mate and good luck

A coarse rod will be fine just as long as it has some backbone incase you get something big.
