Just moved to the North East as a keen fisherman i was keen to check out the local tackle shops, checked out the one in Dean road South Shields but was'nt made very welcome by the unhelpful man in the shop I felt unless i was in their to spend money then go away and stop wasting my time. Whilst fishing on shields pier i was told to try A Line baits at Horsley Hill so i paid it a visit what a difference, very friendly helpful man called Joe he gave me a few tips on good shots and his bait was superb one of the shots he told me about I caught a 2 & 1/2 pound Bass, that boy seems to know his stuff ! I am considering joining the shields angling club and would welcome any other advice on the area .
