Fished ryhope beach dinner time until about 4.00 this afteroon, lovely day I'm bright red no fish though, only odd small eadible crab and only one positive bite struck to early because of desperation really. I used frozen crab tipped with bluey on a pulley rig, two rods one with silver spoon indicator and float beads. A few young lads came in a kayak and I asked them to try to retrieve a washed up lobster pot only cause the owner wont get to it on a boat. But its stuck about 200yrds left of pipe. Cant quite see owners tag but its blue with white writing???? probs get on very low tide, it was in its usual position 400 yrds out only a day ago??
