I think you got to get in amoung the rocks and kelp Easington or further south Blackhall / edge of SeatonBest shore catch 2016 - 7.5lb cod, Seaton Carew!

I'd recommend low water amongst the rocks. Some nice cod were caught last year late in the season from Blackhall rocks. You can move onto the cliffs at highwater, the chair can produce next to the caves.Originally posted by gregsgt View Post
Crimdon has some nice rocky marks to fish from, straight off the caravan park but its a bit of a clamber down the cliffs now which are crumbling. Also the tide rushes in fast due to flat beach all the way from crimdon to seatonBest shore catch 2016 - 7.5lb cod, Seaton Carew!
