  • SW Scotland help needed

Hi. I normally spend a week in brighouse bay next to kirkcudbright. The missus normally comes and we stay in a cottage. This summer I'm on my own and fancy some wild camping and fishing some new marks. I remember reading a great post on here last year from a lad and his girlfriend who do a similar thing. If I remember he fishes for bass and also does a bit of tagging/research/conservation work. I can't seem to find the post but would love to pick his brains before I finalise my plans. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get yourself along to west tarbit next to the mull of Galloway only £2 per night to camp.fishing is great all over this part of the country . You can fish beside your tent but these days the pollock are abit small. 1-3lb. But still good sport on lures. Good luck on finding some were mate.
