Well after going on and on about taking him, i finally had a chance to get out with my 8 year old son last night. Took the spinning rod for him, knew there wouldnt be anything about with the pea soup sea at the minute, but thought the fresh air would do us good. Went down to roker about 8ish, he was over the moon coz he is normally in bed for 8.30. Anyway fished about 50 yards from the end, nothing doing as i thought but he smiled constantly for the hour or so we were down. He is asking when we are going next, hope we get, no more rain and the sea settles a bit so we can get him catching something. He has also asked if he can come in the winter with me cod hunting!!!! lol. Well i will have a fishing partner for the coming season. Over the moon he enjoyed it so much.....
Did see a few codling caught from the end, into the bay side..

Rifle what size as av got a 6ft rod and a small reel he can have if interested all aye ask for in retern is for sum line hooks and clips
