fish abuse
I've recently changed from fly fishing to sea fishing after moving to the coast. When you fly fish you often get asked for your license and show your catch to fisherie bailiffs, its a shame sea fishing is'nt like that. I fished Roker pier a few weeks back and watched as a child jumped up and down on flat fish, the fish was big enough but not edible after child assaulted it. (child was with adult) Challenge people if they pretend not to understand phone police, probs move then.

I always said i would release my first double figure cod.
However i had not took into consideration a couple of things. 1, We were in Norway and all of us were blanking. 2, We had nowt but rice for tea. 3, We had no idea if any more fish would come along so it was dispatched. I felt guilty but by god the fillets were thick and very tasty.

was out on the valiant the other week from blyth, and we were asked about our catch buy the fisheries launch, we had a good crack with them, i asked if they had put the sign on blyth pier, and they had, (now ripped down). a told them that the pier needs marshalls, or more inspections and they made a note, what people are keeping, and what others are doin to there catches really gets me back up.
that on top of the state of the pier, it`ll get closed......!

At Coastguard training on Tuesday night, one of our CRO's had been talking to the guy in charge of running the Castle and he is furious about the situation!!!!....sadly it could be another spot where restrictions or closures could be an option for the authorities...."And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"
