    They've never appealed to me. Buy British not some cheap Chinese stuff with a dodgy warranty where it costs you if it breaks. I also cosmetically think they look cheap. Eeven the zx ones

        Can't say I'd have 1 but my mate got 1, a sks black to test to breaking point and it's still going strong after a winter of abuse.

          two questions please.

          does a person buy a rod on account it looks nice.

          and why can a rod snap after say a few months use or two yrs use just out of the blue.
          did you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?

              It wasn't bad casting technique because i wast casting when it snapped on me.

                Not for me like , prob ok for the job but after a good hammering a recon they go soft quick , am no tackle tart that buys every zippy or century rod going and polish them every day with very little use . A Believe buy once buy quality av had the same anyfish rod for 3 seasons now , hammered it in all conditions, got geordie to rebuild it after a dropped it and it's still as good as when a bought it , just bought the same rod again as a spare when my first one finally gives up on the hammering it gets . But still a long way off . Av got reels for different jobs but one rod that does it all and does it well from scratching to Heavy work .
