Spinning?

Want to try a bit spinning this friday, was thinking of starting from shiels, frankies end and just head along the coast up to souter light house at whitburn, 1st time spinning, what lures should i use, i have selection of koster wedges, zenith 28g's, bass poppers, and more, any ideas on best ones to try?

Yeah those Zenith silver minnows work well and are cheap. You should get coalies, pollock, mackerel etc on them. It's very snaggy in some parts along the coast so don't take anything expensive and take lots of them.

brilliant, i heard some people use daylights also with spinning rods, attaching 1-2 , just hope weather keeps off, looking at forecast not good for weekend, arghhhh, more rain on the way, sigh
