Just give the kid a break. Am i right in thinking he's only 15 years old, or is his blog dated?
      Yes I'm only 15

Dont let them get to you mate. I think you have done a good job of your blog for a 15 year old. As has been said on other threads earlier in the year this is a fishing info site not a spelling site.

If i could offer you some advice it would be after completing each article do your spell check, proof read it through then close it down without uploading it. Get up the next morning, read it again then make any changes before putting it up on the site. I'm sure you will see a big improvement over time.

howay lads, stevie`s a 15 year old kid, putting his passion for fishing to good use, knocking him`s ganna give him endless confidence.
a recon in a few years at the rate he`s going we`ll all be reading his pages and asking advice, thats what it`s all about.

a would`nt have some of you lot talk to my 15 year old son like that, so some of you wan`t to show your age, and give the lad a break.
                      keep it up steavie m8.............!

steve, ive read some of the older threads, and you did come through as a bit arrogant, try and use the site as a tool to improve(i dont condone some of the vitriol coming out of some peoples gobs)as a fisherman if any of us thinks we know it all(your guilty of that sometimes)we might as well hang up the rods.as you can see by some of my posts ive supported you throughout, but try and get on with people a little better, the massive majority of the lads on the site will help you(even some of those who have their backs up)so think twice, think again then ask advice

Why is it from my skim of this thread that if someone expresses an opinion that is disliked we get the "hard as nails" or "shameful" posts?
It’s an opinion expressed my someone and we may not like the content and tone in which case express a counter opinion, at least that would bring something to the debate.
But then again that is just my opinion.
But on the point of a 15 year old putting a web page together and throwing himself heart and soul into angling I think that is fantastic, all credit to him.
Something that I hope he will be putting on any future job application.
But if ,as I do, he has a problem with spelling then as has been said it is easy to first run a spell checker .
Plus read and read again what was typed, a spell checker will not pick up everything.
Maybe not everything that he does but for a web site or something of equal importance then yes.
Some of the comments on this thread maybe not the most pleasant and many may also have the tongue firmly in the cheek.
But if this thread means the youngster takes heed and does as I and others have said, when he puts together something of importance then check it.
Otherwise the job application with all the achievements on it I mentioned would probably end up in the bin only partly read.
Good luck to him, nice to see such spirit in one so young.
