    hi all
in the near future im hoping to upgrade my fishing rod as for the past 15yrs ive used the same 12ft shakey europa rod which is still a great rod but i fancy summit a bit newer so im after any suggestions on a beach rod that will be fished at the tyne and places like the groyne and shields pier
for the length im happy with 12ft but dont see a problem going to 13-14ft plus its to be used with a multiplier!
coasters and movable reel seat will be preferd aswell so i can find whats best for me
and the last thing is the price=£50-80 max and thats bought new!
like i said im after some suggestions so when im looking for one i can make
    the best choice
obviously theres second hand rods out there that fall under that price tag but preowned so would like suggestions on those aswell
iknow its a bit of a tall order but thats why im asking you guys because its
    the best place

Personally if that was my budget I'd be looking for a second hand Greys appolo or Orion. I fish with guys that use both and their spot on and you will pick a one up for around that price.

If you can push your budget up slightly for £99 you could get a Penn Powerstick. I bought one a couple of months ago and love it. It's 13ft 4-6oz ,casts further than my other rods and is very lightweight. It can be used with multipliers or fixed spool. Best beach rod I've ever had (and I have had five of them up to now ). You may come across a second hand one if you are lucky.
