    plenty of whitings from tyne last night.about 30-35 and half pound to one and a half pound in weight.bait was rag and mackrell and lug and mackrell.pulling them in 2 and 3 at a time.hectic night.

    seems theres a few about at the minute then. must have come back inshore. busy session for you last night
    Species 2012 - Cod, Flounder, Dab, Plaice, Pollock, Eelpout, Common eel, Granny Fish, Whiting, Coalie, LSD, Rockling, Bass.

                Has anyone caught any whiting on the beaches (Tynemouth to Amble)? (Not being lazy - it's just that my old Dad might fancy a bit of warm summer night beach fishing. He's too soft for winter cod these days)
