Where are the fish

Hi lads I know it's a long shot but I have some friends up at weekend and they want to fishing. I have a boat booked but if it doesn't happen I still want to take them fishing off the shore. Does any of you know whats getting caught and were. No distant casting please its ok for me but the rest no chance. Any were in a 30mile radius of roker. Thanks for any help.

hes right plenty flats off there and enough coalies to keep ya busy and maybe the odd codling what i seen today ,also took a mackerel on bottom baits

I seen a canny few codling taking on mackerel baits over the winter on shields pier not little ones either
